Up for bids is Jimi's first US release, Hey Joe, b/w 51st Anniversary, Reprise 0572 stock copy with picture sleeve. This tough to get sleeve is in VG++ condition. While there is little overall wear, it has a 1" split along the bottom edge, as well as a 1/2" tear and small piece missing along the top opening edge. There is also a small stain along the bottom of the front of the sleeve. These defects can bee seen in the photo's. Still overall in nice, presentable shape. The record itself has clean labels with very slight wear but has several scuffs and light scratches on both sides. Playback on Hey Joe is surprisingly not bad with just a bit of background noise while 51st Anniversary has a considerable amount of noise and campfire sounds. It does not skip. While the record is not great, it is still quite uncommon and the opening bid is an excellent opportunity to obtain this package at a fraction of what a mint one goes for. Buy it for the picure sleeve!
