OZ Early Reissue LP released in 1969 on Polydor Records. Cat: SLPHM-107. Comes with gloss front cover.

One of the most stunning debuts in rock history, and one of the definitive albums of the psychedelic era. On Are You Experienced?, Jimi Hendrix synthesized various elements of the cutting edge of 1967 rock into music that sounded both futuristic and rooted in the best traditions of rock, blues, pop, and soul. It was his mind-boggling guitar work, of course, that got most of the ink, building upon the experiments of British innovators like Jeff Beck and Pete Townshend to chart new sonic territories in feedback, distortion, and sheer volume.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles and is in VG+ condition. Gloss cover has some ringw ear and marks, a name written on back top edge, some light surface tears around edgesand a few small tears along right hand edge and is in VG+ condition.


Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
