A correction run of erroneous covers, featuring the controversial image (censored by some outlets at the time) of naked ladies on front/back. Made at the same time ('pre-release') as the 'white text' covers. 
Cover is fully laminated inside and out.

Gatefold opens to view inner spread (glued to outer cover's inside tabs as separate element). Gloss laminate exposing matt areas on all four edges. (Effectively, the sleeve is a flattened 2-piece cardboard tube).

Large sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with blue tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo center, E.J.Day print data to left. Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles.

The vinyl: First release, 1st pressing 180 gram vinyl with original 'high-dynamic' mix. Produced in auto-coupled sequence;

Titles: This UK issue has no suffix to "Come On", "The" is prefixed to "Burning Of The Midnight Lamp" and "Cross Town" appears as two words.
This first pressing was made in 1968 and has the coveted blue printing inside the left of the gatefold cover bearing the infamous ladies which was eventually banned. (Don't buy if this offends you!)
The catalogue numbers and matrixes are listed as above and the 2 LPs are in Stereo. (I have also photographed the  albums extensively above)
For its age, I believe the LP is in really good condition overall. The outer sleeve does have some shelf wear to all edges. The laminate on the front is still in very good condition for its age. There is some creasing on the back and inside the gatefold sleeve and some indentations etc but these are all minor. I think this is a reasonable VG cover still for its age.
I have test-played the vinyl twice recently and was astonished how good it still sounded on my Naim/Audio Concept equipment. The discs played very well without major pops, crackling, hissing, mis-tracking etc. They are not warped. The audio is really clear and precise with some static and slight noise between the tracks but nothing to disturb the enjoyment of the stereo press which sounds really good. I did not envisage how nice, strong and clear it would sound.
There are some hairlines & light surface marks but these are all minor really and I could not detect any problems on playing. I would describe the discs as VG+ visually but believe the sound quality is excellent for its age and use. I will be using my professional record cleaning machine to give the discs a deep clean before sending to the winner and will provide 2 good anti-static inners and clean card inners as well. I do not have the original inners.
The centre labels do not have too much spindle wear and the printing listing the tracks is very good overall. One label bears obvious signs of having a sticker removed. The other labels have also had stickers removed quite well and are relatively clean in comparison.
