Description
For auction is my copy of the Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis Bold as Love
It's the first UK edition of 1967 on the Track Records label in mono
612 003 Matrix A1 & B1
It's in very nice condition but not perfect and as it's a high value item I will be critical and honest.
Cover = It's in very good overall condition but there are flaws including some minor creases to the laminate and some edge wear as per the photos.
Inner = its in very good averall condition but there are a few creases.
Lyric Sheet = Is very nice but has slight selotape marks on the edges.
Vinyl = It appears glossy and in very good condition. On close examination under a bright light there are a couple of tiny minor scratches, a very small dull area and some faint hairlines.
Playback = It sounds great except for the last track on side two where there is a lttle noise in places including some clicks when the record is fading out which lasts about 15 seconds. It sounds great for a 53 year old record but as I've said it isn't perfect.
I've had this record valued by a record shop. The starting price of £100 is well under the valuation.
