Description
An original, 1967, stereo, first pressing, UK copy of 'Axis: Bold As Love' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Complete with lyric insert. Stereo sticker on front of sleeve. The sticker on the back of the sleeve suggests that this copy was originally sold in Stockholm, Sweden.
Sleeve: Multiple small edge creases on the laminated, gatefold sleeve but the spine is crisp and straight. Ex
Lyric insert: Multiple small creases. Fold on one corner. No sign of adhesive or pins. VG
Vinyl: Just a few spindle marks on each label and only a few, fine, surface marks visible on each side under bright light. The spoken parts on 'EXP' sound noisy but the vinyl looks pristine so I suspect it was pressed sounding this way. Ex+
I've had this record for 10-20 years and I've played it very little. I've always kept the disc in a laminated inner sleeve to protect it.

I use Covers 33 'deluxe' corrugated mailing boxes with plenty of corrugated cardboard stiffeners.

I've had a better look at the matrix numbers in the run-out grooves and I've found an extra figure on side 1. The matrix numbers look like this to me: Side 1 matrix number - '613003 A [inverted triangle] 1 1 1 4'; Side 2 matrix number - '613003 B [inverted triangle] 1 1 1'. I can't see any other distinct figures.
