Hello & Welcome,

Up for auction is a very rare LP (especially in this condition) by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called "Are You Experienced".


This is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st MONO Pressing. This is the VERY 1st Pressing with A1/B1 matrix endings stamped on the record.  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 612 001 on the 1st Press TRACK label.

All the tracks are killer Jimi Hendrix Experience at their best.  This is arguably the finest LP by Jimi.

The record labels themselves are in VG++ condition (see pictures) with no wear, no writing, and only a few very light spindle marks which are difficult even to see.

The vinyl is in VG++ condition.  There are no deep scratches, only signs of light paper scuffs are visible under a good light.  The record plays with NO skips, NO pops, and the very lightest surface noise on a few tracks. If given a deep cleaning with a Nitty Gritty Record Cleaner or a Record Cleaning Solution and damp soft cloth, it will qualify as a Near Mint-.

The Cover comes in at VG+ condition. Has some signs of previous enjoyment, slight crease marks, slight corner wear. The only real issue with the cover is 1 inch split on the spine, right in the middle. This however does not take away from the beauty of the piece.


I have seen similar condition copies of this fetch record 200-300 (UK pounds!). I'm a collector first and foremost, and as such, I believe in letting the market determine the value of this piece. Therefore, this is a NO RESERVE auction, and I will start the bidding at a mere $9.99!
