Original UK Hendrix Legacy stereo press 180gm double LP.

The debut album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience and the first album on the Track label, it was initially issued in mono and then 'enhanced stereo' on later re-issues. Recordings had already begun in late October 1966, with the band producing material that does not appear on the original UK album, but which was released as three singles leading up to the LP release. This is the 2015 180gm remastered re-issue with the A-1 B-1 etc. matrices and the additional six tracks on disc 2.   The matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner wear and a couple of creases on the outer cover and the opening of the sleeve. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inners are intact & in EX+ condition and the booklet is in EX+ condition.   The record is in visually EX+/NM condition, with only one or two very faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with no evidence of spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX+/NM, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & lively listen.   The matrix nos. are; 8875134501, 13985 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, 1-D.
This is one of the early copies of the 2015 180gm pressing of the original 1967 UK issue of this album!

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
