Track Records 613008 / 613009. 1968 UK double album release. Laminated "naked lady"gatefold sleeve with lamination not quite reaching the edges. White text and small portraits of Mitchell and Redding. Printed by Ernrst J Day. This is a UK 1st pressing which has been in single ownership since release date in 1968. It's got a labelling error, resulting in sides A & D both having a Side A label, though the vinyl is correctly pressed (auto-coupled A-D-B-C). I've not found any other references to copies with this error, despite extensive internet research, so I think it's probably a rare variation. Vinyl is in astonishingly good condition - a few hairlines and some light spindle marks - but plays clean and clear throughout. A1/B1/A1/B1 matrix. Sleeve is in VG+ condition. Light wear at corners and softening of open sides. Slight buffing front and back and a few small ripples in the laminate, but no tears, splits or major creases. I've not shown the outside cover as eBay are a bit sensitive about nudity... All in all, a thing of rare beauty (possibly the only one in the world with that error!). I've listed showing free postage based on RM 1st class, but I'd expect the successful bidder to specify their preferred method of postage and pay the costs of any enhanced service.
