Description
1972 repress of the Jimi Hendrix classic Electric Ladyland on Track Records. In overall great condition except for some marks on side C - please read description and view photos.
Each record has a number of spindle marks on labels, which are otherwise clean. Both discs play great with virtually no surface noise or clicks/pops, and just have a few small hairlines which do not sound.
However, side C does have a series of marks (see photo) which do not sound except for a light click in the left channel for about 3 minutes halfway through (when the solo cymbal section starts). Also, there are a few clicks surface noise at the beginning of track 1 side 1 and a couple of clicks at the very end of track 1 side 2.
Outer sleeve is in great shape, VG+ condition - it has light rubbing, especially on record outline, and a number of thumb creases on front sleeve. There is also a light crease round the record outline and a thumb crease at bottom left of the back cover. The inner gatefold is pristine but does have a 1-2 mm white band along the back opening edge (see photo). This is probably from when the sleeve had a sellotaped covering - there is a non-sticky sellotape marking on each inner opening edge (see photo), but no other evidence that it existed.
The original poly-lined inner sleeves have some light creasing.
I will post to the UK in a proper mailing with cardboard stiffeners.
