Description

I once had  the original copy from 1970 and thought I still did but couldn't find it but this is the one I played the times I listened to the recording. This LP was recorded live on Dec. 31 Jan. 1st 1969-1970 2nd show .Legend has it that after Jimi finished his first show at Bill Graham's Fillmore East , Graham accosted Jimi and admonished him for playing such a terrible show and going through the motions. Well that reprimand obviously worked because Jimi  played a truly inspired 2nd show from where this LP was based upon. The actual show was almost twice as long as the album .The true gem of the LP is Jimi's anti war track Machine Gun one the great guitar solo's of all time .What a shame Jimi would not live to see 1971.What a loss .
