This NEAR MINT 1st pressing of Hendrix's 'Band of Gipsies' was recorded at the Fillmore East December 31 1969 & January 1 1970
It is on the Polydor-pressed black & silver Track Record label: 2406 002

Housed within an unlaminated 'MacNeill Press' printed gatefold cover (rear pocket opening only) & original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair showing just a single spindle mark (possible from the factory) on the side 2 label only.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight, bearing just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this high-quality pressing lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This disc shows no visual signs of ever having been played. Apart from a handful of light ticks on 'Machine Gun', my single careful play-check at volume found the sound quality to be flawless & highly impressive throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean, fully intact example with light shelfwear on the lower edge and a few light small wrinkles on the rear panel, but no other significant signs of wear.
The inside of the gatefold is clean & unblemished & the unworded spine and all seams are unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with a touch of age-toning but no seam splits, writing or tears.
