Purchased from Acoustic Sounds a while back.
From the personal collection of Michael Hobson, founder of Classic Records. Hobson pulled some of the first copies for personal use and this is number 2 of 2 that he pulled. Priced higher than ordinary sealed lps due to this novelty.
Never opened. 2 LPs. Chance of a lifetime to own this rare copy of such a classic album. Because of this rarity there will be NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS OR PARTIAL REFUNDS of any kind.
The Classic Records Archive contains reference copies - two sealed editions each - of Classic Records' various releases (180-gram, 200-gram, RCA
'Living Stereo' limited editions, Blue Note, Verve, etc...) They are the first edition production copies of nearly each title Classic ever reissued. They have been warehoused through the years in climate controlled air-conditioned storage.
As Classic Record's founder, Hobson was fanatical about pursuing the highest quality possible for mastering, plating, pressing and packaging of Classic Records reissues.
The Archive was one of the few things Acoustic
Sounds didn't acquire as part of the deal to buy
Classic in 2010. A deal to acquire the Archive was reached by Hobson and Kassem some nine years later.
