Description
It is rare to find this magnificent follow up album to "Are you experienced", released in 1967 on the Black/Silver Track label 612003 in Mono with first press matrix numbers A1/B1, yet alone in this excellent condition. This UK pressing has a high gloss finish and has no scratching at all and a minimal amount of paper scuffing (please view other photographs as confirmation). It has the rough surface, black Track label with little spindle marking, no warping and no spindle hole wear. The outer laminated flipback E J Day sleeve with its matt interior is in excellent condition. Both front and back still have a high surface gloss with no ring wear or creasing at all. There is no text on the spine. There is a very small amount of wear on some of the corners, but this is really minimal.
The inner polylined inner sleeve is the Patent numbered original and also in good condition.
There are no marks/writing or stickers on the disc label or sleeve.
This record has been in my private collection since I purchased it in 1967. It has been kept upright in dry dust free conditions away from damp and light in custom built shelving for the last 42 years. I am confident that it has not been on a turntable in the last 40 years!
This is a superb copy, a collectors item and not to be missed. Any Hendrix fan will know what a fine album this is. The Mono sound beats the Stereo version for sheer power and for me is part of the appeal of this album.
Do not miss this brilliant early copy, it will be a long time before you see another in this overall condition.
