Description

     Jimi Hendrix and his band took the stage at Woodstock on August 18, 1969.  Jimi's performance of "Star Spangled Banner" live at Woodstock was a turning point in the history of the counter-culture movement.  Hendrix lead the way with guitar and vocals.  Jimi was the final act, and the anthem had become a fixture in the Jimi Hendrix Experience concert set list since August 1968.  Hendrix treated the song with surprising reverence.  One man with one guitar.  Hendrix's "Star Spangled Banner" is an interpretive masterpiece!  Item is in near mint condition.  30th Anniversary Limited Edition Commemorative Single,  7" picture-disc.  MCA Records (1999),  #MCA13487.  Thank you for looking.
