Lead singer for The Doors, Morrison's poetic lyrics and Manzarek's musical genius made The Doors one of the most original and popular band in the states. Their first album was a best-seller and the single 'Light My Fire' reached number one in the summer of 1967.Though sensitive and shy in his private life, Jim was wild and uninhibited on stage. His music was about sex, death, revolt, and it was so in touch with the dark side of human nature that it frightened many - especially parents. For his fans, though, Jim was a visionary, a spiritual leader destined to liberate man from authority and oppression - in many ways the embodiment of everything the 60s stood for.

Born in 1975 Jorghe discovered drawing at the age of 4 or 5 and never stopped!
In 1989 in Italy he was introduced to a comic association called “ Chine Vaganti “ which was the beginning of his fascination and love affair with drawing producing comics and short stories.

After a long affair with illustration comics three years ago Jorghe discovered in England the pleasure of painting on canvas. He successfully organized five solo exhibition in the best clubs and galleries in UK and Australia.

In 2006, Retrospect Galleries and Joghe joined forces to create a series of portraits of famous faces for reproduction onto canvas and fine art paper. His bold chiaroscuro style is faithfully reproduced to bring some of the most influential cultural icons to life.
