Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland Part 2. I Have Tried To Establish The Exact Release Date For This Record However Information Appears Sketchy At Best. Looking At Other Track Record's Releases That Had Catalogue Numbers Close To 613017 I Am Able To Conclude That The Release Took Place Around October 1969. The Double Album And The Part One Single Album were released On Friday 25th October 1968.
The Single Albums Didn't Sell Particularly Well And As Such Are Rarer Than The Double Album. The General Consensus Is That The Single Albums Were Released to Make The Purchase Easier For People That Could Not Afford The Initial Outlay On The Double Album. (With This Back Story It Makes The Acquisition Of The Single Albums Even More Desirable).
The Record Itself Plays Really Nicely And On Head Phones Is Quite Literally Mind Blowing Steve Winwood's Hammond Organ Playing On Voodoo Chile Is Positively Mesmerising And Hendrix's Guitar Playing Is Simply Awesome. The Album Cover After 52 Years Is Starting To De-Laminate A Little However, The Original Poly Lined Inner Sleeve Is Present And I Can Conclude From The Date Stamp That This Copy Originates From 30th July 1970. Overall A Genuinely Very Nice Copy Of A Brilliant Album. Any Questions Please Do Get In Touch.
