Jigsaw - One Way Street/ Then I Found You
(MGM Records MGM 1410 UK 7" 1968)
This is a UK original 7" single pressing. Unfortunately this is a well played copy. However, playback is really nice overall. The record has yellow "MGM" labels which have a 4 pronged centre. The labels have the "Sold in UK..." text. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original "MGM" company paper sleeve. The A-side is a classic late 1960's Mod Dancer/ Northern Soul single. Very rare too.
Vinyl: There are more moderate, moderate to more considerable sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. There are two very tiny (0.2 cm to 0.3 cm) dinks at the outer edge of the disc. These do not affect playback in any way. There are about 4 light or very mild surface hairline marks. These measure from 2 cm to 3.5 cm in length. They are mainly on the B-side. Overall, Good condition. The labels are in Very Good+ condition. There is some light fading on a portion on the B-side label. Otherwise, mild spindle wear. The company paper sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. The A-side plays Very good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only really noticeable in the quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. The crackle never overpowers the music. The music still shines through! There are no noticeable clicks or pops on the A-side. The B-side plays Good+ to Very Good overall. There are a very few mild clicks on the B-side. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy. The all important A-side plays particularly well overall.
