Description
Selling last of my personal record collection that i’ve collected over the last 55 years. They are down to one shelf in a cupboard now. Just a few more to be added. It’s been a lifetime experience but when they are gone i’m finished. Reasonable offers accepted.
If you buy more than 1 LP please add them to your basket, then select “pay only this seller”, ebay will then send you a cheap combined postage invoice.
Jethro Tull - thick as a brick LP from 1972.
Original UK 1972 first press on the green Chrysalis label with white “I “ logo and white rim Island text.
This is the earliest UK issue, with the Island logo & radial text in white at the head of the labels.
The 12 page newspaper sleeve has a thick card construction for both sides of the record pocket. The back cover has the Chrysalis butterfly logo.
Original UK patented inner sleeve with “PATENT NO. 1.125,555” printed on it.
The catalogue number is CHR1003 with matrix A-3U/B-2U and PORKY PECKO etched in run outs.
The disc is VG+, just a few light superficial surface marks (nothing nasty or feelable).
One label has green circles etched round centre hole (see pics).
The cover is VG, please look closely at pics for the actual condition as the cover is so complicated my words could not describe it accurately. There is a pic for each page of the cover.
