Description
This is the rarer mono first UK pressing of Jethro Tull's debut release, This Was on Island Records.
Vinyl has surface marks and there is quite a lot of background noise at times. It plays through very well with no jumps and no sticking. Rated as Good+.
The wide spine gatefold sleeve is very good. The spine is straight and fully legible, some creasing as can be seen in the photos. The opening has some feathering. However, the sleeve remains good and strong. Rates as VG+
The first press pink eye labels are clean and undamaged. Just a touch of light discolouration.
First press A//B matrices.
Ordinarily I wouldn't list a record that has vinyl that rates as Good+. However, the rarity of this nearly 50 year old mono first pressing means that it would make a very worthwhile addition to any collection.
