This NEAR MINT copy of their acclaimed debut album is an early UK 2nd STEREO pressing dating from 1969
It is on the textured pink 'block' Island label: ILPS-9085
Matrices: ILPS+9085+A & ILPS+9085+B
Vinyl weight: 164g
Housed within an outer-laminated gatefold cover (rear pocket opening only) with 1cm-wide spine & original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate set with no visible spindle trails or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight and show just a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this high-quality copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing
Sound Quality: MINT
This disc shows no visual signs of ever having been played and my single careful play-check at volume found the sound quality to be flawless throughout. Tough to find a better sounding copy of this classic.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An outstanding example which retains a completely unworn & unscratched high-gloss front panel, free from any 'thumbnails' or ring-wear. In fact, apart from a single spine bend it's perfect. There is a hint of wear to the corner tips and a single small 'push' to the front opening edge, but there really is precious little to fault here.
The rear panel is pristine & 'as new'
The inside of the gatefold is unworn with the only blemish being two faint 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge of the right panel.
The spine is clean, fully laminated and worded and all seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with a few gentle storage wrinkles but no seam splits, writing or tears.
