I have for you my favourite Jethro Tull album, Thick as a Brick. This record is unique for two reasons. The whole album is "one song" and the artwork. The sleeve is done as a mock newspaper of the St Cleve Chronicle complete with news, sports, short stories, puzzles and a music review of the album. The gatefold has another drop down section and it can then be read as a newspaper with 11 pages. The front page is a story about Gerald (little Milton) Bostok and a controversial poem that he wrote. Jethro Tull then took this poem and used them as the lyrics for the album. The old saying is true, "they don't make them like that anymore."
The sleeve is good condition and the vinyl on the inside is very good shape. I used to put my albums on cassette back in the day and so the albums were rarely played and as a result they have little wear. I'm selling because I haven't had a turntable for many years and am not likely to have another.
