JETHRO TULL - 'THICK AS A BRICK'
1972 MINT UK *1st PRESSING* LP
This UNPLAYED UK 1st pressing from 1972 is on the green & red Chrysalis/Island label: CHR 1003
Being a true 1st pressing, both labels carry the 'Basing St..' address and white 'i' logo on the rims.
The disc is housed within a matt newspaper design, fold-out cover printed by the 'E.J.Day Group'
Complete with its original plain 'Patent No..' white inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: CHR 1003 A-3U & CHR 1003 B-2U
'PORKY' & 'PECKO' are inscribed into each run-out respectively.
Stamper codes: 1/R & -/A

A perfect pair with no traces of any center hole wear or any spindle marks there.
Visual: both MINT
Both playing surfaces are completely unmarked & 'as new' in strong daylight AND directly beneath halogen light. Both sides lie 100% flat when playing, with no dishing or warping.
Play: MINT
From visual evidence, it appears that this copy has not been played. My single careful play check at volume confirmed the sound to be 'as new' and totally unworn with no audible faults or distractions whatsoever. You won't find better.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A superb example of this easily blemished and worn cover with clean, white & unmarked front & rear panels. There are tiny shelfwear bruises to the lower corners but all edges are sharp & unworn. Inside and opened out, all the inside pages are fully intact and the staples are all unrusted and in-place. Apart form some natural yellowing to the paper and some minor storage related wrinkling gto the paper, there is little to fault here. No attempt has been made to fill in the 'join the dots' or do the crossword. Overall, this is one of the finest examples you will come across.

Clean & white with just a few light wrinkles from storage but nowriting, splits or tears.
