Description

An original 1st press from rting. Matrix A2/B3. Stampers 1OO/1MT. 1sst pressings should have the Island reference at 12 o'clock on the labels. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with bespoke newspaper. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. And fantastic condition....
Vinyl (Vg/Vg+) In nice condition and has see moderate use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very slight marks per side - nothing heavy. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at best VERYGOOD level of playback on side 1. Not the quietest player. In the quieter moments you will get a bit of lowlevel crackle. A couple of ticks and one pop early on side 1. So, if you need fully clean feed - this isn't the one for you. Side 2 plays cleaner - averaging VG+ [pretty good really].  If you're someone who can compromise a bit on the audio...well worth considering to bag a genuine 1st at value. Overall still very enjoyable - but not clean enough to hit higher grades on side 1.
Cover (Vg+) Well preserved cover and most do not look unaged and clean by this point in time. Please NOTE upper edge of record pocket has split all the way along. I have taped internally so it can still be used as a pocket. Tape not visible from the exterior. Overall the cover is still in excellent condition. The interior newspaper pages are always slightly tanned. Only light wear on the outter edges. Much tidier that what usually surfaces.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
