JETHRO TULL - 'STAND UP'
This superb 1st UK STEREO pressing of their second album dates from initial August 1969 release and is on the textured pink Island label with the orange circle logo: ILPS-9103
Matrix numbers: ILPS+9103+A & ILPS+9103+B
Disc weight: 164g
Housed in gatefold album cover, in a woodcut style designed by artist James Grashow which opens up similar to a child's pop-up book and helped this album win the "New Musical Express" award for best album artwork in 1969.
Complete with its original plain white, die-cut inner-sleeve.

Immaculate, vibrant and unblemished labels with no trace of wear to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a few two faint stylus hairlines on side one are totally 'as new' and unmarked both in strong daylight. Even close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only a few barely visible inner-sleeve paper hairlines but scuffs, marks or any other visual faults on this well preserved, heavy disc which lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly been barely, if ever played and the sound throughout is completely flawless throughout. My single careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any audible faults or wear - Guaranteed.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A respectable example of this award winning cover. The front panel has a small sticker removal mark in the upper left corner but is otherwise undamaged and unworn. There is light rubbing to the corner but no damage to any opening edges. The rear panel has some minor storagewear marking but the inside is undamaged with the stand-up card fully intact. The spine has some age discolouration and minor which is detailed in the final image right.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with a few light handling wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
