I'm selling this on behalf of my mum who's decided to have a clear out of her collection of LP's.

1st Pressing MATRIX No's: ILPS + 9103 + A / ILPS + 9103 + B
UK 1969 ISLAND ILPS 9103 Stereo 'Pink Island 'Eyeball' Label 1st PRESS
The first pink label:
This design was in use from late 1967 until mid-1969.
This design featured the word "island" in large, lower-case lettering along the bottom of the label with a distinctive orange and black circular logo dotting the 'i'.

THE VINYL HAS THE FIRST PRESS, HEAVILY TEXTURED ISLAND PINK LABELS WITH THE ISLAND CIRCLE EYE LOGO
FIRST PRESS MATRIX: ILPS + 9103 + A / ILPS + 9103 + B
AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL MATTE GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH INTERNAL 'POP-UP' OF THE BAND

VINYL Visual: Both surfaces have their original deep, glossy sheen. There are some marks on the surfaces, mostly transfer from the lining of the inner sleeve from storage, which are of no major audio consequence.
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely sensational – crystal clear, deep, rich, and vibrant sound. Unbeatable depth and clarity on these first presses simply not found on later issues. There are no scratches, no sticks or jumps and apart from some light background surface noise between some of the tracks, the album plays to a very high standard with Great audio clarity.
Sleeve: The original matte POP-UP gatefold cover is in great condition for it’s age. Edges and corners are slightly worn, the pop up is in excellent condition. The inner sleeve has a tear and is slightly discolored due to age. Next to the Album title on the front of the LP, someone has written; “Salter Pemberly”, in small writing, and on the first L of Tull, “CD” is written, my mums initials, not really noticeable.Theres also slight rubbing on the front before the 'S'. As the LP has been carfully stored for many many years it may benefit from a professional clean.
