Greetings to my fellow Tull fans! I am in the process of selling of my vinyl collection and have amassed close to 75 Tull singles, mostly imports with great picture sleeves: Keep your eyes open over the upcoming days/weeks/months for tons of Tull rarities!

Here is one import picture sleeve you will rarely ever see, especially in this condition!

This is a beautiful Dutch picture sleeve for the first official Tull release from 1968. The b-side is a non-lp release and a delightful glimpse into early "This Was" era music.

As you can see from the scans, the sleeve is in beautiful condition: the front has only the slightest of ring wear and there are NO split seams. There is a hard to notice tear on the bottom of the "E" on the front and only a tiny ding on the lower left corner. The back cover has a stamp on the back and I can't tell if that was part of the original design or added by some fan and there is a noticeable center hole wear. Give the sleeve a VG+. The labels have no writing but the A-side has a printing defect with lots of blue on the pink label. Sound quality is VG with noticeable crackles but no warping or skipping. A real treat for Tull collectors!

I play rate all vinyl and am a conservative grader (some say down right picky). A purely visual inspection might be convenient for the seller but not necessarily for the buyer! I've been collecting vinyl for 30 years and know from experience that visually a record might look mint but may play with a lot of surface noise; some vinyl looks pretty bad but may sound terrific. So, playing all of the record- not just bits- is the way to go.
