Jethro Tull Forum '73 aka A Passion Play Live 2 lp yellow and blue vinyl TMOQ JT 538

Hello again, fellow Tull fans. Here is a real nifty collectible record for both Jethro Tull collectors and all who love the classic TMOQ Trade Mark of Quality releases! Recorded on July 20, 1973 at the LA Forum, Tull played a great show, promoting "A Passion Play". The first lp is on yellow wax (not the orange color that the photo displays), the other is blue plus you have a classic TMOQ stamped cover and the beloved 'pig' foil sticker. Additionally, it includes a paper insert with the wonderful artwork of William Stout.

Tracks are: A Passion Play/ Thick As A Brick ("the middle bit")/ Cross-Eyed Mary/ The Bomb In The Dressing Room/ Aqualung

The vinyl is VG+: mostly very little surface noise except for some clicks (not skips) for brief times on the first side. The labels are in nice shape with no writing or stickers but there is slight discoloration on label 1 & 3 from being stored together. The paper insert has no writing or tears but it does have some light age spots. The cover itself has seen better days. VG- due to extensive splitting: 5" on the upper right, 5" on the upper left which continues for another 3" down the left side, a partial but not full split seam on the lower left corner and the beginnings of a split on the right bottom corner. Despite those defects, this is a great collectible and it would be great Christmas gift for those who appreciate Jethro Tull and TMOQ records!

I play rate all vinyl and am a conservative grader (some say down right picky). A purely visual inspection might be convenient for the seller but not necessarily for the buyer! I've been collecting vinyl for 30 years and know from experience that visually a record might look mint but may play with a lot of surface noise; some vinyl looks pretty bad but may sound terrific. So, playing all of the record- not just bits- is the way to go.
