Description
The ultimate Audiophile edition of Jethro Tull;s classic Aqualung LP. This set was remastered using the original master tapes provided by Ian Anderson at Bernie Grundman's mastering studio, one of the best in the world. The album was cut at 45 RPM and pressed on 4 single-sided 200 gram LPs using Classic Record's propriety clear Clarity Vinyl. Clarity vinyl had no impurities or colouring added which Classic Record's argued degraded the sound.
The owner of Classic Record's sold the business and this limited edition set is long out of print and has become extremely valuable along with numerous other Classic Records titles. This is the best sounding copy of Aqualung I've ever heard.
The LPs have been lightly played using a ClearAudio turntable/cartridge and are in near mint condition. The cover sticker and original paper strap that went round a sealed copy is included. The gold circle on the top of the box has a couple of light markings otherwise everything is NM.
