Grading:

RECORD:  NEARMINT = Nearly perfect. Record shows no obvious/significant signs of wear, only limited use and handling.
EX = Excellent, will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by somebody who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have some slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience (maybe very light noise in soft spots, intro/fade). Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK , Label will show some barely noticable wear.
VG = Very Good, surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music.
Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels will possibly be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or residue) attached.
G = Good, a record in this grade will play through without skipping, but will have significant surface noise, scratches and visible groove wear. Generally played a lot, or kept in a sleeveless, careless existence.
P = Poor, means it has been heavily abused. You won't see this often from me, and only on very collectable pieces. If it can be wrong with it, it is!

SLEEVE: NEARMINT = Almost as new condition.
EX = Excellent, slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split that don't detract
VG = Very good, possibly be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or residue) attached.
G = Good, suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
P = Poor, will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
