Description
Bidding is for the super rare 1958 release by Jerry Lee Lewis / Jerry Lee Lewis on Sun # LP -1230 in mono. Beautiful original copy and hard to find anymore in any condition. I'm going to try to list every small flaw as I know with a collectable album like this one, It's very important!! The jacket looks clear glossy and bright. On the front slick there is an indented line (best way I can describe it) about 5 inches long on the surface of the left side of the cover. This line is very hard to see as it does not remove any of the slicks finish and I almost missed it. Only visible under very good light and at the right angle. Back cover has start of some very light ring wear. Doesn't effect the great picture of Jerry lee and Sam Phillips. Spine looks awesome with all words perfectly visible and no peeling at all!! A little wear at the 4 corners but barely noticable. The top edge is just starting to split at the jacket opening but has only progressed back about 1/4 of an inch. It should be noted that the rest of the top edge is FULLY secure with no peeling. A slight " push" at the center of the jacket opening. The all important thick heavy vinyl looks shiny and bright. A few hairlines on each side but that's really it! I carefully cleaned ( on my nitty gritty ) and played this record from start to finish. Sounds awesome with barely a surface noise audible and only between tracks. Deep groove original yellow Sun labels look centered and bright with no real spindle marks. Definitely the finest copy of this record I have ever seen in 20 + years of doing this. Any questions, just send an email.
