Description
DESCRIPTION: This is a 1971 UK original pressing of 'Junkies, Monkeys & Donkeys' by Jericho Jones on the A&M Records label. At the time, A&M were using the Pye Records pressing plant to press their records so many of them, including this one, were pressed on translucent burgundy vinyl.
The vinyl is in excellent condition - there is a solitary, superfical, small (2cm) hairline on side 1, and a small (2cm) superficial smudge on side 2, but neither of these marks affect playback. I have many burgundy records pressed at the Pye pressing plant, and they all tend to have some inherent surface noise. This one is no different - it plays with a light touch of surface noise, which is noticeable during quieter moments, but this is not loud and never overpowers the music. Otherwise, the vinyl plays loud and clear - no loud pops, repeating tics or skips.
The gatefold cover is close to near-mint. There is just a tiny (2mm) saw-cut on the spine, but otherwise, there are very few signs of wear and tear. This comes complete with the original poly-lined inner sleeve, which has all seams intact and the correct '7-71' (July 1971) date code.

GRADING: Unless a record is sealed, I play-grade everything on a high-end turntable. My grading is strict, so even if you are buying a 'VG+' record from me, the chances are that you are actually buying a very nice keeper copy. Nevertheless, grading is quite subjective; so, if you feel that I haven't graded something properly, please contact me immediately. As a collector of vinyl myself, I know how important customer satisfaction is and I will do everything I can to resolve any issues.
PACKAGING: I do not charge for packaging costs. All records are packed well in sturdy record mailers with additional cardboard for protection. To prevent any seam splits during transit, I always ensure that records are packed outside of their covers.
