CONDITION DETAILS RARE GERMAN IMPORT, original b/w cover photo. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded in it's entirety). Cover looks great; no scuffing (front and back). Inner sleeve is original (lyrics), all three seams are solid; record is housed in a poly-lined paper sleeve. Spine is unbroken, clean, and easy-to-read. Minor shelf-wear along the top and bottom-edge. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (This record is not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD The Hunter, by Jennifer Warnes, peaked at #13 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. It was released five years after her breakthrough album Famous Blue Raincoat. Classified as adult contemporary, the album is jazz/R&B infused. The album includes several covers, including Todd Rundgren's Pretending To Care, The Waterboys The Whole Of The Moon, and Way Down Deep, co-written by Warnes's mentor Leonard Cohen, who makes a guest appearance on the track. An Amazon reviewer states, "I could listen to Jennifer sing all day long. There is something hauntingly painful and all knowing in her voice and yet there is strength and beauty there also. Her arrangements and vocals are so beautiful and her song writing is pure and mature."
