On January 10, 2023, Jeff Beck, the lone genius guitarist who suddenly passed away at the age of 78 while still an eternal guitar boy.
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Jeff's birth, whose original and superb technique that no one could follow was the envy of guitarists around the world, the many masterpieces he left on Epic Records will be reissued in four periods on Japanese analog LPs. The second release will include three titles from 1975 to 1977.
This work, "Wired", is a masterpiece of guitar instrumental music released in 1976, which is on par with the previous work, "Blow by Blow." Produced by George Martin as with the previous album, the sound texture is greatly influenced by the participation of Jan Hammer (synthesizer, drums, production, mix) for the first time, and the album features wild and dynamic guitar playing with a stronger hard fusion feel. This time, it will be released in Japan for the first time as a 2-LP 45 rpm set!
