Description
This one is extremely rare and a great thing to own if you collect or like Jean-Luc Ponty. On sale is the Dutch Atlantic test pressing of Jean-Luc Ponty's 1976 Aurora album. Only a handful of these were made and fewer have survived. This comes from a collection of one of the children of an EMI producer, working at and for the record company in Haarlem in the Netherlands, who has kept it stored for over 40 years and has hardly played it. The sleeve has Jean-Luc Ponty and the Atlantic number (50228) handwritten on the sleeve. The sleeve also has the word Proefpersing stamped on it. The record has a white Proefpersing (Dutch for Test Pressing) label on the A side and a white label on the B side. The sheet with details on the album (cue sheet) is missing. The record sounds really good, and looks really good, with only a few ticks. The sleeve itself is in poor condition, the right handside of the sleeve has come loose, and it has some small holes as shown in the pictures. It looks used, but that could be expected after nearly 50 years. If you need more pictures, just ask.
Registered shipping only! Shipping and handling is: Nederland €13, EU €19, Rest of the world €29. I can combine shipping, just add another euro for each additional lp. I pack my records really well: new cardboard box, plastic sleeve and cardboard on both sides of the record. I am a collector myself and hate it when a record arrives damaged or warped.
