Description

Ornette Coleman: THE SHAPE OF JAZZ TO COME (Atlantic SD 1317). Recorded in May 1959, Coleman's quartet here includes Don Cherry, Charlie Haden and Billy Higgins. Great music.

I believe that this is the 1968 American issue. Green and orange labels with the Atlantic Broadway address. Matrix numbers are ST-A-59175H AT/GP PR and ST-A-59176H AT/GP PR. A sturdy American sleeve in excellent condition with two items of writing printed on the back and a price label on the front. The inner sleeve promotes comtemporary Atlantic LPs.

The LP plays very well, with just a few minor instances of background noise, and a small scratch - not too noisy - on track B1; owner's initials printed on the side A label.
