Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NM-, a beauty!  The playing surface is immaculate, except one soft paper scuff on Side One.  Disc has a high luster; has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine. 

JACKET:  Jacket is NEAR MINT with flawless front and back panels.  Glossy front panel is so clean and bright.  Reverse has original retail price sticker at bottom right corner.  Nice seams and corners.  A beautiful jacket worthy of display.

“..Features the first Cannonball Adderley Quintet, a group that despite its talents failed commercially.  With Cannonball on alto, cornetist Nat Adderley, pianist Junior Mance, bassist Sam Jones, and drummer Jimmy Cobb, it is surprising that the group did not make it, but the Adderleys were fairly unknown at the time.  The music is quite bop-oriented, bluesy but not as soulful as it would be when Cannonball put together a new group in 1959.. highly recommended to bop fans.”
