Up for auction is a two record 78 rpm set of Mary Lou Williams on Disc, Asch label # 707. The title of the set is "Trends". The first 78 title is "Lazy Atmosphere" b/w "Tea For Two". The second 78 title is "Patches" b/w "Desert Sands". Additional players on these sides were Joe Kennedy - violin; Samuel E. Johnson - piano; Ray Crawford - guitar; and Edgar Willis - bass. Condition of the cover is VG with some wear to the edges, spine, and front cover. The condition of the two 78's are VG- with a few light scratches and scuffs, but none that would affect the play. For any Jazz lover these would be a great addition to their collection. They will be carefully packed to insure against mishandling from shipping. Starting bid is $14.99

We've been record collecting for over 40 years and still enjoy the hunt for music we've never heard. The time has come however for us to weed out some of our treasures. It has come to our attention that Mary Lou Williams is not actually on these discs.  A member of the ebay community contacted us and stated the following: Please note that Mary Lou Williams does not play on these discs. This was an effort by the record company to promote the unknown group by using her name (she was involved in producing the album). 

We did not listen to these discs and therefore didn't realize she was not on them when we listed it.  Sorry for the confusion.  modixiecup
