Jay Wiggins – ‘Tears Of A Lover’ / ‘You’re On My Mind’ – Solid Sound 3001 wd (US)
Out of Washington, D.C. comes this wonderful two-sider. Hard to say which tune has the edge, the Northern/Popcorn dancer or the soulful ballad flip, they are both wonderful. Wiggins’s best known record is ‘Sad Girl’ but his two releases on Solid Soul
Condition: VG+ or perhaps a notch better, basically as good as the sturdy pressing will allow; a little dust and some scuffs, that’s all (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).

Shipping from Sweden is expensive – though the rest of the world is surely catching up – not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.
