Description
Up for auction is an original rare deep groove mono pressing of the Jay Jay Johnson Sextet 'S/T' 10" LP on Blue Note Records BLP-5028. Others musicians include Clifford Brown, Jimmy Heath, John Lewis, Percy Heath, and Kenny Clarke.
Record info:
VG with some scuffs and surface noise. It still plays and sounds great!
Cover info:
VG+ with solid seams with some moderate wear in spots, mostly on the bottom seam. It has the hint of the beginning of a split on bottom at jacket opening. The front cover has a library style #d sticker on top left corner. The back cover has a price sticker on top left corner.
Label / Pressing info:
Original 767 Lexington Ave. label deep groove mono press with Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
