Description
The Vinyl for all three records is beautiful, extremely clean and still has great gloss.
Play Graded: Excellent vinyl sides 1,2,3,4, all sound near perfect! Sides 5&6 have some very light pressing issues...my opinion is that this disc is slightly lighter stamped and the minute pressing flaws come through in the quietest of passages but the cello is still rich and full, issues that are not so imposing as to impede any listening pleasure. If this was a visual graded item it would have easily posted as Near Mint/Mint Minus but I prefer to err on the side of conservative. I have seen very poor copies of this album listed as Mint Minus, Don't Miss out on a Beautiful, Pristine copy!
The stampers in the dead wax are fairly deep on all lps; all show, RFR (a C. Robert Fine Recording)initials in dead wax.
Robert Eberenz was the engineer. Harold Lawrence was the producer.
The box is in wonderful condition; clean inside and out, no tears or breaks; these Mercury boxes were not manufactured of the highest quality cardboard or printing...
that said, it is close to mint as it can get.
