Description
The original 3 LP box set on Mercury Records Stereo SR3- 9016. All six sides are very close to NM or M-, but I have graded them as E to be on the conservative side. This box set has been in our possession for many years, and we have never played it. The records have full gloss and appear to be blemish free. There do not appear to be any spindle marks around the spindle holes on the labels. Obviously this doesn't guarantee that the records have been unplayed, but is a good indication that they have not been extensively played. The box is in good shape EXCEPT for two visible blemishes. First, there is a light blue inscription on Boris' head. It says RD 210. Also there is a mark on the head of his cello, where what appears to have been masking tape had been removed. The removal of this tape has also lifted the surface of the rear of the box. The plus side of this was that all the tine the masking tape was present, and thus closing the box, the records were unplayable. The four page liner note is complete. There are two or three very small 'dots' close to the bottom right hand side.

Two things have occurred since I originally listed this item. Firstly, I will be out of town from Friday September 15th until Wednesday September 20th. Thus the earliest I can ship this will be September 21st, with the proviso of course that it has been paid for and the cost of shipping and insurance has been agreed upon. I do ship Media Mail, but eBay's arbitrary insertion of the 'shipping price you will pay' does not reflect insurance etc. And secondly, eBay, in its infinite wisdom,. has inserted totally erroneous information about this product that I don't know how to get rid of. Under 'Detailed Product Info' eBay states this record is a Sony re-issue from 2016.
