Janos Starker, Bach ?– Suites For Unaccompanied Cello - No.2 / No.5 33CX 1515. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
This is a very hard to find classical album on the sought-after Columbia label, catalogue number 33CX 1515. The full title of the album is 'Suites For Unaccompanied Cello - No. 2 In D Minor / No. 5 In C Minor'.
Condition of the sleeve I have marked as 'Fair'. As seen in the pictures, there is some quite severe wear to the sleeve, with the primary example being a large rip on the front. There are also small areas where the laminate covering is starting to peel, along with general rubbing and very slight tears. There is also a bit of wear on the top right hand corner - all can be seen in pictures.
The disc is a very different story, lovely and clean with not many signs of wear at all. Some slight hairline marks on both sides and when played there is a general background crackle, especially noticeable as the music is quite quiet. I am grading as VG although this could easily be upgraded to a VG+ if you have the equipment to deep clean the disc and remove deep lying dirt.
