Description

This is the Super Rare Original release of the Famous Janis and Elvis South African 10 " Lp. Released in 1959 and withdrawn only a Day and a Half Later when the "Colonel" protested anybody having top billing over elvis. I purchased this in 1982 from the owner of "Sam's Vintage Records" which was a small store in a "Peddlers Village" type Flea-market  below ground in Hillbrow, Johannesburg.
I've only played the record once. There where no skips and very little surface noise. The Front Cover is in pretty good condition with only the top right hand corner and printing on the spine worn off. The Back is somewhat dirty with some Ring Wear. I've included many Photos to show details of the album. On the Disc itself is stamped 8HPL-21 on the First side and 8HPL-22 on the second. Perhaps the rarest of any original Elvis Item.
