Description
Fellow audiophiles up for your consideration is a very rare Factory Sealed pressing of the iconic Janis Joplin and Big Brother and Holding Company's sophomore album "Cheap Thrills". Janis and the band originally wanted a naked photo of them together in bed for the cover but the Columbia Records shut them down. Janis who was a big fan of underground cartoonist Robert Crumb demanded his drawings be used, consequently the art work originally commissioned for the back cover of the album was shifted to the front. Rolling Stone Magazine ranks the album cover as #9 of the top 100 of all time. Long out of print and difficult to find vintage vinyl is becoming more valuable every year. Don't hesitate to purchase this classic Blues Rock LP as it will only become increasingly harder to locate. The record is part of my personal collection and has always been kept in a mostly dust free smoke free and climate controlled environment (not a warehouse). I am selling some of my duplicate titles to help fund my habit. USA Shipping only.
