Description

Pleasures of Past Times was a bookshop on Cecil Court, off London's Charing Cross Road (famous for antiquarian bookshops) from 1967-2020. It began specialising in early juvenile books and the performing arts and evolved into more recent pop-culture and counterculture books, posters and ephemera  – now a website. Stock ref JJB114

There were two versions of this LP. The first version with Je T'Aime, Moi Non Plus as the first track - later replaced the same year with  La Chanson De Slogan from their film collaboration - released July 1969 .
This copy has Je T'Aime, Moi Non Plus  and the correct tax code Ⓣ  on the back cover, with no credit for Michel Colombier
LP : EX+ visual

Nothing dramatic – no significant scratches or scuffs. Hairlines/sleeve removal/ wispy polymer drag marks only under strong directional light. No heavy spindle marks around the label/drill hole.

Play tested and cleaned on a record cleaning machine. An excellent and enjoyable listen throughout without any annoying loud pops, no clicks, absolutely no skips, no jumps and barely any static (which all records have IMO).

Cover: VG++ - no splits, no significant creasing, just light handling creases - one light thumb crease and minor laminate creases around spine. See Photos. On the back cover patch of slightly discolouration. Far better preserved than the majority of copies online.

Overall excellent: nothing serious to object to, perfect for a serious collector. A well-preserved, gently used bright copy with the original sheen intact, that has been used but not abused - no digitally processed audio.

Shipped in a sturdy new mailer. LP sent in a new plain white sleeve, outside of the original cover – both inside a plastic sleeve with a 12x12 card protector
