Description
This is Los Angeles high school buddies, Jan Berry and Dean Torrance, singing "Gee" on Dore 576 in October of 1960 (37054 and 37054X etched in the dead wax). This # 81 chart record looks and plays in NM condition. The Dore picture sleeve is VG++ with minor wrinkling on the sleeve. This is the toughest of all the Jan & Dean picture sleeve to collect. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeve. Price guides suggest a valuation of $250.00 to $300 for a NM copy. You can own the rare copy for the low end of that suggested valuation. In 1954 The Crows took this song to # 2 on the R&B charts (see separate listing for that Crows record in this eBay store).
