Description
This is a very early pressing of James Taylor's 1970 breakthrough album titled "Sweet Baby James". (There is no print below the title stating, "Contains Fire and Rain and Country Road".) It is SIGNED by James on the front cover in blue felt tip. It is accompanied by an iron-clad COA from R&R Enterprises, from whom I purchased this signed LP in a late 1990s auction. R&R Enterprises is one of the country's most respected autograph sellers. Check them out online. The cover is very attractive in VG+ condition. The COA describes it "In fine condition, with light scuffing and edge wear". There are no bends or folds so this would make a most attractive display. The COA, unfortunately, is water damaged.
This is my favorite album ever. For me, when I first heard it in 1970, it was a revelation. I loved every single song on the LP. For the first time, I found that basically acoustic music could be full-bodied and just as wonderful as any other music. To this day Sweet Baby James is my favorite LP.
