Description

Up for auction is a rare 1956 mono pressing of the James Moody 'Moody’ LP on Prestige Records PRLP 7072. Other musicians include John Lathan, Eddie Jefferson, Pee Wee Moore, and others.

Record info:

Strong VG+ vinyl with minor surface noise.

Cover info:

VG+ with general wear. It has noticeable wear, slight tearing on right upper corner, library style sticker on left upper corner and some artwork marring on bottom right hand corner. Back cover has some staining and a promo stamp. The back cover has a 447 West 50th St. address.

Label / Pressing info:

Original yellow/black deep groove press. The 2nd side has a promo 'not for sale' stamp on it. RVG stamps are on both sides in the dead wax. The label has a 446 West 50th St. address.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
