Description
Very Rare OG Mono 10" Blue Note BLP 5006 James Moody and his Modernists with Chano Pozo. The music on this LP is absolutely essential, both progressive and inviting. Although this record does have some wear, it sounds remarkably full and warm 70+ years later. Appearances by Cecil Payne and Art Blakey. Arrangements by Gil Fuller are superb and the lineup sounds excellent!

Record: VG/VG- Grading this LP conservatively but there are some audible defects. The records grooves are well preserved and still has a nice shine. The surface has definitely lost some luster over the years but this LP has been play tested and certainly still sounds fantastic! This 10"LP is scarce and although slightly conditional, this particular copy is definitely worth a listen and still maintains life and playback is still very enjoyable.
Cover: VG Cover has minor splitting on the spine and the top seam but the colors are still well preserved. Beautiful mid century design. Considering it's age the LP jacket still looks wonderful.
