Description
James "Iron Head" Baker performs "The Grey Goose" at Central State Farm, Sugarland, Texas, in 1934, & Arthur Bell performs "John Henry" at Cumins State Farm, Gould, Arkansas, in 1939. Field recordings by John, Alan & Ruby Lomax for the Library of Congress Archive of American Folk Song.
E condition, with a shiny surface and only superficial scuffing. This copy includes a single sheet with notes and lyrics.
The record will be sandwiched between cardboard and shipped in a 12" x 12" x 6" box with plenty of packing material. I have years of safely packing and shipping 78s, so bid with confidence! I also gladly combine winning lots!
